I have a Heavy Duty throat mic for sale, It is worth $50 plus shipping, but the reason I'm selling is that its too small for my neck It comes with the adapter for a single pin radio. I have a Swedish neck, so my neck is a bit larger than most

Basically I pulled it out of the packaging, put it on and nothing happened when I talk! then I realized the mics aren't on my vocal cords, so I tried to adjust them and that was as far as they extend, so I have no choice but to sell it. I was able to get them relatively close to my vocal cords and it was really clear sounding. It comes with an ENORMOUS PTT, a smaller PTT, the adapter for the Motorola talkabout series (aka single pin adapter), Cord clamp and ear piece.

I just figured out you can plug in regular headphones into a port int the back of the throat part. Its way better than the acoustic clear tube for your ear.

Thank you for editing you post, but I do not appreciate the sarcasm, especially as I was polite and kind about it...

What would you do if someone came on here, who has a son/daughter with epilepsy or autism (or many other things), and commented on you choice of words because they found it very offensive? All I'm doing is saving you future embarrassment.

I myself have a condition (becoming much more common as generations pass) linked with epilepsy, and so just myself (despite what other people could say to you), I do not appreciate your choice of words.

Further more, you don't even know what the word "retard" means (without going onto an online dictionary right now), and ignorantly, you are using it in the wrong context...

We both know I state a very good point, and as a moderator you should know better, especially as we are in crucial stages of promoting the website.


This following is not just directed at one person:

Crosshairs93 is trying very hard to promote this website, and I can speak for the rest of us when I say we all want to see it flourish as well...

Please take the time to go over the forum rules again, they are very similar to other forum rules and thus should not be that hard to stick to, and when posting, please use:

- punctuation
- spell check if you need to
- and use non-derogative language

I again think I can speak for Crosshairs93 and everyone else when I say that we want this to be a friendly, informative, and generally enjoyable website... What we are trying to create here is technically a community.
